Shipping Policies

FREE shipping is great, but we still have to get the product from our place to yours, and it doesn't happen for free.  Your probably not surprised to learn that when sites offer free shipping, it's really just built into the total that you pay.  That often means that each item has a shipping amount built into the price.

Typically, you will see us offer free shipping when you reach a certain purchase amount, or during a special sale.  Generally, we will try and give you the best price possible, then add a reasonable amount for shipping for the total order based on weight and size.  But, if it doesn't look right, let us know (info@thimbledots.com) and we will make adjustments when possible and fix problems that might exist in the product database.

We try and offer you a few options for shipping speeds.  Typically most things ship via US postal service or ground services by UPS or FedEx.  We ask that you allow 2-5 business days for order processing -- just in case -- but we try and ship most orders in 1-2 business days.  Most items that show available are in stock, but some of our inventory counts are based on quick availability from local distributors and other suppliers.  Our goal is to operate in a way that you can get what you need at a great price, and as quick as possible.

We also want you to be happy with your purchase.  If you receive a defective item, send us an email (info@thimbledots.com) with a picture and we will work out a solution to correct the problem.  If you change your mind and want to return or swap a product, email us and we'll work out a solution that is fair to both of us.  Our goal is to provide 5-star service, but also stay in business so you can enjoy great prices.
